Radical Breeze releases Footlights 2.0
Radical Breeze has announced the release of Footlights 2.0, the first major upgrade to their video playback and conversion application for Mac OS X. Version 2.0 brings a new thumbnail movie view and realtime video playback effects (such as gamma, brightness and video rotation). In addition, all features of Footlights 2.0 are now completely free except for video exporting - which can be obtained by upgrading to Footlights Pro for $14.95. The upgrade to Footlights Pro is free for existing Footlights users.

"Our goal was to provide a first class video player for free to anyone who wanted something with a little more kick," stated Bryan Lund, President of Radical Breeze. "Full screen playback, transparent movies, realtime effects, customizable playback speed... it's all free in Footlights 2."

Footlights is a video player, organizer and converter with a host of advanced features, including: Full screen playback, adjustable playback speed, transparent movie windows, a searchable thumbnail movie list and the ability to adjust gamma, brightness, contrast and rotation in playing videos. Video exporting is available by upgrading to Footlights Pro.

A new license for Footlights Pro is $14.95, a free version that does not export video is also available.

Rock 'n' roll baby! Timothy J. Fehr shares a foursome of guitar desktops (Les Paul, Richenbacher, Steinberger and Telecaster) that were snapped this past summer at the Minnesota State Fair. The group is the Wright Brothers Band. The pics were all treated to a bit of tweaking in ImageTricks and Photoshop, being messed with quite liberally.

Digging through 270 pages and 3 years worth of cursors at WinCustomize, Jay Lehrer's "Project CursorXP Port 2006" has a goal to port the best of the best WindowsXP cursors over to Mac OS X for use with Unsanity's Mighty Mouse haxie. Fully authorized by the original artists, these cursors all sport a great mix of style and class. The collection comes to a close with three cursor sets shared by Libardo "Lgp85" Gomez, PULIDO Wood, Radioactive and Warning.

C P Chambone shares a cell phone theme for the the Sony Ericsson K750i, Shocker, a black and cyan theme with standby animation resembling a taser gun.
