Panic & The Iconfactory Announce Universal Binary Support for Pixadex Panic and The Iconfactory are pleased to announce that their popular icon organization utility, Pixadex, has been updated to version 2.0.2. Released as a Universal Binary for native performance, Pixadex is ready to play on Apple's new Intel Macs. In addition, this latest release offers new features such as the ability to customize folder icons in the Collection List and includes a number of fixes and improvements.
Like all Universal Binaries, Pixadex 2.0.2 requires Mac OS X 10.3.9 or higher. Pixadex 2.0.2 is a free upgrade for registered users of Pixadex 2, or a $9.95 upgrade if you are a registered user of Pixadex 1.

A Dash of Quartz Drawing - Today we're just going to take a brief look at drawing in Quartz thanks to the new Graphics.Handle feature in REALbasic 2006r1. What we'll do is setup a Quartz CGContextRef for a Canvas and clip it to the bounds and then draw a rectangle with a shadow in it.

QuickAccessCM Updated to version 1.7 QuickAccessCM is a free contextual menu plug-in from Abracode, Inc. that allows for easy access to frequently used folders, documents and applications. QuickAccessCM can also be used as a launcher, file commander or installer.
